Website Visitors
Like most website operators, Synsere Technology collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Synsere Technology's purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how Synsere Technology's visitors use its website. From time to time, Synsere Technology may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.
Synsere Technology also collects potentially personally-identifying information that is collected by Gooogle Analytics. The analytics feature Synsere Technology has implemented is based on Display Advertising (e.g., Remarketing, Google Display Network Impression Reporting, the Doubleclick Campaign Manager integration, or Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting). Visitors can opt-out of Google Analytics for Display Advertising and customer Display Network ads using Ads Settings.
Synsere Technology will not facilitate the merging of personally-identifiable information with non-personally identifiable information previously collected from Google Display Advertising features that is based on the DoubleClick cookie unless Synsere Technology has robust notice of, and the user's prior affirmative (i.e., opt-in) consent to, that merger. Synsere Technology also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses and (coarse) geographical positions. Synsere Technology only discloses logged in user IP addresses and geographical positions under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information as described below.
At any time, visitors may choose to opt-out of Google Analytics tracking with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Synsere Technology uses the Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting feature to identify trends in the usage of its website which may be published in reports for internal use.
Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information
Certain visitors to Synsere Technology's websites choose to interact with Synsere Technology in ways that require Synsere Technology to gather personally-identifying information. In each case, Synsere Technology collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor's interaction with Synsere Technology. Synsere Technology does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. Visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.
